Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2025

1. Introduction

Iguana Prompt ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Iguana Prompt web application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Iguana Prompt:

  • Account information — your name and email address, provided via Manus OAuth at sign-in.
  • Prompt content — the prompts, groups, tags, and version history you create within the Service.
  • Usage data — copy counts, last sign-in time, and UI preferences (sidebar width, sort order, preferred AI destination).
  • Billing information — Stripe customer and subscription IDs. We do not store card numbers or payment details; those are handled entirely by Stripe.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Service.
  • To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe.
  • To send transactional notifications (e.g., billing events).
  • To improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Manus — for OAuth authentication. See manus.im/privacy.
  • Other users you explicitly share folders with, limited to the folder contents you share.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your prompts, groups, version history, and account data are permanently removed from our systems.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Export your data (Settings → Account → Export).
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party tracking cookies are used. UI preferences are stored in your browser's local storage.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, signed session tokens, and parameterised database queries to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
